Billing for Services – The ECAA bills patients transported in our vehicles for the services rendered. The billing of BLS ambulance services is administered by Cornerstone Adminisystems. The billing of paratransit services and standbys are administered by the ECAA.

Prior to January 01, 2021, the billing for ALS services provided by WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital on ECAA calls were jointly billed with our BLS bills. However, the billing for ALS services is now done by WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital or their designee.

Direct Mail Solicitation – The ECAA conducts an annual direct mail solicitation of residential addresses within our primary response territory. The first mailing is normally sent in mid-October and a follow up mailing is sent in mid-December. The direct mail solicitation is produced by Municipal Marketing Services, Inc.

Credit Card donations – Donations can be made to the Ephrata Community Ambulance Association using most major credit cards.  Please click on the Donate button below to access a PayPal site to make your donation.

Bingo – We received a portion of the proceeds from the annual Ephrata Lion Club Bingo Marathon in 2023. Proceeds of the event were split between various local not-for-profit organizations including the Ephrata Community Ambulance Association, the Ephrata Pioneer Fire Company and the Lincoln Fire Company.

Tax Status – The Ephrata Community Ambulance Association is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.  The official registration and financial information of ECAA may be obtained from the PA Department of State by calling toll-free, within PA, 1-800-732-0999.  Registration does not imply endorsement.
