Paid Professionals

Candidate(s) must be a team player, be in possession of valid EMT-A, EMT-B or EMT-P certification with current CPR, NIMS 100,200, 700, 800 and EVOC.  Experienced individuals preferred, but all skill levels will be considered. Please submit a completed resume to Kevin Wolf – EMS Manager.

The ECAA utilizes a combination of paid professionals and volunteer professionals to provide its services.

We utilize an EMS Manager and EMS Team Leaders to provide management responsibilities of the paid EMT positions, to schedule our paratransit transfers, to coordinate the out-sourced billing functions and to manage the ECAA office.

EMT (Emergency Medical Technician)
            JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Complete vehicle checks at start of shift
  • Run emergency calls
  • Run non-emergency calls
  • Run paratransit transports
  • Inside/outside station duties
  • De-contaminate the vehicles as needed
  • Any other duties given by the EMS Manager or Supervisor

            CERTIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS

  • Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR (BLS level)
  • Current PA Emergency Medical Technician
  • EVOC
  • Valid PA driver’s license
  • HAZ-MAT operations
  • NIMS 100, 200, 700 and 800
  • Pre-employment background check
  • Pre-employment drug screening
  • Pre-employment physical capability screening
  • Criminal history checks by the FBI, PA State Police and the PA Dept. of Human Services

Paratransit Drivers
            JOB DESCRIPTION
